Founded in 1890, the Kent County Lawn Tennis Association is the focal point for all tennis activities in Kent.

The Association has full time County Development and Performance Officers with responsibilities for promoting and developing tennis throughout the county. With support from the LTA, the Association is actively developing a County Plan, with emphasis on the Community Tennis Program and establishing a strong management structure. The Association is also a source of expertise for the Indoor Tennis Initiative. All these initiatives are aimed at building a strong future for British tennis.
