During the
height of the summer, all 10 courts, (6 astro and 4 grass) will be in full use
at junior Friday evening sessions.
Junior tennis is organised by a small voluntary group of adult members and parents
who have tried hard over the last year to accommodate increasing demand, and a
number of changes have been made by the club in the court schedule to enable more
junior playing time. We hope to offer the opportunity to all age groups to play
in matches against other clubs, and also make the Club’s junior tournament
even more successful.
However, this all requires a lot of planning and organisation and the help of
parents is desperately required. Matches can only be played if they are organised
and the children can be transported and supervised.
COACHING
Our coach, John Gotke, will be coaching squads, as follows:
Saturdays - 11.30-12.30 - 12.30-1.30
Sundays - 11.00-12.00 - 3.00-4.00
There is a £4 charge per session. Contact John directly for details.
