Most of the club's off-pitch activities - the debating society, the produce market, table footy, whine & wisdom(less), origami, Doing Good Things - centre on the bar and Bill's everlasting efforts to chuck as much down our throats as possible, laws of the land permitting.

The club is perhaps more fortunate than some in having its own watering facilties alongside its own playing facilties, guaranteeing a measure of post-match conviviality and good-natured ribaldry between teams.

A casual visitor will notice several team "camps" emerging as the afternoon and evening progress on match days as the relevance of "what's left in the kitty?" becomes more apparent. Try telling some the 'beer money' is for the oppo!
