2017/18 season

We start this year with a new Head Player/coach Craig Boyne. Craig is again assisted by David Bunyan and new team skipper Matt Burton-Bowen.

Our playing squad, as with most seasons, sees a number of last year’s squad, for various reasons,  moving away from the club however we are pleased to welcome back  Craig, new skipper Matt Burton-Bowen, James Oates, Max Liebenschutz-Jones, Harry Roberts, Sam Barrett and Andrew Sutherland.  We also look forward to seeing Tom “Beano” Bean back with us later in the year.

A Number of former Junior Canterbury players have re-joined us.  Conor Annand , Tom Moore, Luke Smithard and Connor Poulain will know their way around Polo Farm and we also have a number of new players to the club (and country).

Michal Nowakowski a former Poland international and penalty corner specialist joins at the heart of the defence,  German twins and UKC students Daniel and Christian Schellinger join from Münchner SC.  Adam Price joins us from Hertfordshire via Sheffield Hallam Uni  and Goalkeeper Nathan Redman also a Student at UKC arrives from Preston. Finally we welcome Nathan McGuire from Australian club Greensborough

The squad is completed with a number of Canterbury juniors who are looking stake a claim for a place in the team with Harrison Smith, Paddy Brookson, Hugo Creaney-Birch, Mike Eastman and Jamie Tritton amongst them.

Once again we start the new season with a new team,  Sevenoaks will provide another local derby and with pre-season complete we are looking forward to the season and the challenges ahead.
