Canterbury 2nd XI landed an impressive four wicket away win over Rainham C.C. in the KCL 2nd XI Division 2.

Fielding first after winning the toss, Canterbury restricted Rainham to 207 for 7 from their 50 overs with the best contributions from Gary Ward (56) and Chris Small (58). For Canterbury, Dale Clarkson finished with 3 for 69 while the 'Walker Brothers', Phil and Rob bagged two wickets apiece.

In reply Canterbury reached their target for the loss of 6 wickets to win with 13 balls to spare. This was courtesy of 63 from skipper Mark Slaughter and 65 from David Sayle  who added 123 for the first wicket.

Canterbury 2nd's next fixture is at home to OD CUACO at Polo Farm.
